The Club’s Welfare Officers are Beth Alvey and Laura Lawlor. Their role is to support the Club to promote good safeguarding practice across the Club, to be the named points of contact for all members of the Hockey Family, and to implement England Hockey’s "SafeGuard" (safeguarding and welfare) policy & procedures across the Club. See below for more details.
If you are a young person, and you have any concerns about your own welfare, or if you are the parent or other adult and have concerns about the welfare of any young person at the Club, Beth or Laura should be the first point of contact.

----------------------------------------------
The Club believes that all young people have the right to be safe and enjoy their involvement in hockey and have the right to be protected from harm, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race (including ethnic origin, nationality and colour), religion or belief, sex (gender) and sexual orientation.
To this end, the Club adopts England Hockey’s safeguarding young people policy, named SafeGuard. The policy sits alongside all other EH policies and regulations which the Club adopts - including, but not limited to, the Code of Ethics and Behaviour.
EH publishes details of Safe Guard for Parents and they are available here.
A similar guide for Young Persons is available here.
Details of these other policies are available in the Other Useful Information section of this website (see “Club Policies”).
